CCIW represented on d3football.com all-north region team

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- D3Football.com, a website devoted to the coverage of NCAA Division III football, recently released its All-North Region Team and 15 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) student-athletes were represented on this season's team.

Seven players were named to the first team while five were on the second team. The third team featured three CCIW players.

North Central running back Dominic Sulo and two of his teammates on the offensive line, including tackle Josh Delancey and guard Don Kasper made the first team. North Central defensive tackle Anthony Imbordino also earned first-team honors. Joining the four North Central players on the first team were Carthage tight end Bryan Bergman, cornerback/return specialist Pete Ittersagen from Wheaton and Carthage kicker Matt Denny.

Illinois Wesleyan wide receiver Martin Ceisel made the second team, along with tackle Blaine Westemeyer from Augustana and Wheaton guard Geoff Rowson. Return specialist Joe Schneiderbauer from North Central and Millikin punter Aaron McLean were the special team representatives on the second team.

The third team featured center Eric Van Hise from Illinois Wesleyan, linebacker Matt Wenger from North Central and safety Bo Osburn from Illinois Wesleyan.
