NCAA Cross Country Championships Teams Announced

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) will be well represented at the 2006 NCAA Division III Men’s & Women’s Cross Country Championships next Saturday, Nov. 18.

The championships, which will take place at Voice of America Park in West Chester, Ohio and hosted by Wilmington College, will feature two automatic qualifying teams from the CCIW, and five individuals. Both the North Central men and women will compete as a team next weekend.

On the men’s side, Wheaton’s Brandon Mull and Elmhurst’s Mike Ptack and Drew Hatzold will run as individuals, while on the women’s side, North Park’s Hannah Landecker and Elmhurst’s Marissa Mele will also compete as individuals.

The men’s race is scheduled for 10 a.m. central time, while the women are set for 11 a.m.
